Ashington Church, Sussex
This old church roof was systematically and carefully stripped. All timbers were sprayed with an anti-woodworm solution, felt and battened, then re-tiled using the existing randomly-sized peg tiles. Total loss was 40%. All ridges were completely renewed, and abutments have lead soakas on every tile with a mortar mix finish to the existing rendering
